Gas Fireplace Website - Gas Fireplace Articles: "Saudi Aramco will hold the official inauguration of its Haradh Natural Gas and Oil Development Project on January 18.

The recently-completed mega-project consists of a gas plant capable of delivering 1.5 billion standard cubic feet per day of sales gas to Saudi Arabia's Master Gas System, and a gas-oil separation plant (GOSP) capable of stabilizing 300,000 barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil.

The Haradh facilities are located in the southern part of the Ghawar field, the world's largest oil field.

Haradh Gas Plant is Saudi Aramco's second facility built primarily to process large amounts of non-associated gas that is, gas from gas reservoirs, and not associated with oil production. The first was Hawiyah Gas Plant, brought on stream in 2002.

In addition to the sales gas, Haradh Gas Plant has a design capacity to deliver 170,000 barrels per day (bpd) of condensate to Saudi Aramco's Abqaiq processing facility, and can produce 90 metric tons of sulfur per day for export.

The GOSP associated with the Haradh Natural Gas and Oil Development Project has a crude oil capacity of 300,000 barrels per day, and includes" Click to read full article

Gas Fireplace Website - Gas Fireplace Articles: "A few web searches will soon reveal many web sites that have testimony from British Gas customers that detail tales of woe regarding the service they have received.

This is far from isolated, indeed, EnergyWatch publish statistics on the numbers of complaints they receive. Centrica (who own British Gas) congratulate themselves on the reduced numbers of these complaints, yet thousands of British Gas customers still have problems.

Complaining to British Gas can be a beaurocratic nightmare. There is a Complaints Management Team, a Complaint Review Team, and then there's EnergyWatch. Given the poor service many people receive, it's easily imagines that the two British Gas teams are likely to be equally ineffective. Incidentally, EnergyWatch are very helpful, and make British Gas investigate any complaints.

However, there is another, little publicised route into British Gas that gets suprising results. Further more, they welcome your feedback. It is of course, the Office of the CEO, Sir Roy Gardner.

Getting the postal address of the CEO is suprisingly difficult. Seemingly, British Gas don't publish an 'HQ address', nor do they seem to have any relations departments who may be able to help. Calling the British Gas call centres tends to get " Click to read full article

Gas Fireplace Website - Gas Fireplace Articles: "The Russian Gas Industry to 2020 examines the problems and prospects for Russia's ambitious gas reform programme, and considers its impact upon the future development of the Russian gas industry as a whole.

Key issues examined include Russia's rapidly changing political and commercial environment; Gazprom's sometimes problematical business culture; major political and economic problems in Russian gas reform; the impact of Russian gas reform on the development of Russian gas exports; the role of foreign investment in Russian gas development; and Russia's relations with both gas producers and gas consumers in the independent republics of the former Soviet Union.

Special attention is paid to the future of Russian gas exports to Europe, particularly within the context of the liberalisation of energy markets in the European Union.

Also considered is the possible role of East Siberian gas in allowing new Russian penetration of rapidly growing gas markets in Japan, Korea and China.

The main question the report addresses is Russia's best strategy for expanding its gas exports and so improving its balance of payments. One school of thought holds that Russia should create an improved climate for foreign investment. This would lead to expanded" Click to read full article

Gas Fireplace Website - Gas Fireplace Articles: "As part of its ongoing development program, Petrol Oil and Gas Inc. is pleased to announce the results of its initial exploratory drilling program on its Missouri properties. Petrol Oil and Gas Inc. was created in today's high gas price environment to focus on the development of Coal Bed Methane (CBM) in Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri. With CBM growing in importance as a domestic source of natural gas, the Company is strategically drilling in areas that are cost efficient and in proximity to existing production, thereby reducing the economic risk.

The Company has drilled 5 exploratory wells in western Missouri to date, each to a total depth of about 900 feet. Petrol's geologist Bill Stoeckinger reported good gas shows in a number of the coal seams contained in the Cherokee Group, the primary source of CBM production in the area.

Petrol's CEO Paul Branagan stated 'We are extremely pleased with our preliminary field results indicating that these shallow coal beds appear gassy and are very similar to those we are producing from in our nearby Kansas CBM wells'.

To date Petrol has acquired 20,000 acres in Bates and Cass Counties in Western Missouri, all of which are located within the Western Interior Basin, one of the country's largest CBM basins. Petrol's land position has the added benefit of very low drilling costs" Click to read full article

With natural gas prices rising, industry experts predict there will be little downturn in the short-term, not until 2007 or 2008 when liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants can start to help address the supply and demand issues.
